The Automotive X PRIZE is offering 10 millions for a 100-mpg car, but it will take more than high mileage to claim it, participant also require to submit a business strategy to show the car is not only production-capable (at least 10,000 per year), but that the public will actually want to buy, also they are required to have heat and air conditioning, proper mirrors, wipers and the like. The invention can be three or four wheels with four or two seats.
